our rug is handcrafted from 100% natural wool, so you may notice subtle variations in pattern and color—beautiful marks of authenticity that make each piece one of a kind. Please note, final dimensions may vary by up to 4% from the size ordered.
The Plush
Our hand-knotted low pile averages around 0.75". If you’d like a taller or shorter pile, simply email us—one of our Beni designers will be happy to customize the pile height to your preference.
Tassels
Traditional Moroccan rugs typically have tassels on one end only. You can choose to have your rug made with or without tassels—it's entirely up to you. Tassels usually range from 4" to 6" in length. Here’s a preview of what they look like.
No Tassels
You can choose to have your rug made with or without tassels. Without tassels, the rug is finished with a clean, hand-bound edge—subtle and unique, like the weaver’s personal signature. Each one may vary slightly, adding to its character.
